Suffolk County Council, Brandon Country Park

About This Project

Brandon Country Park, located near the heart of Thetford Forest in Suffolk, was originally a country house with extensive parkland and is now owned and managed by Suffolk County Council.

Spread over 32 acres, the beautifully landscaped parkland has lawns, a lake and walled garden. Marked routes for walking and cycling take you through the park and the surrounding Thetford Forest. Full facilities are available for a great family day out, including newly completed visitor centre with café and children’s play area.

Landmark were approached by Suffolk County Council and asked to assist them in upgrading the signage throughout the park. The existing signs were in need of replacement and a new corporate logo had been developed that was to be included on the signage. Landmark completed a site survey and created a new signage scheme manufactured from FSC certified English Oak with engraved and painted legend.

The new signage suits the park very well and has helped raise the profile of the visitor experience. Brandon Country Park truly is a delightful spot for a picnic, pleasant walk or bike ride and Landmark thoroughly recommend you pay a visit and enjoy the experience! Daniel King, the Senior Ranger at Brandon says “We are very pleased with our new signs at Brandon Country Park, they sit well in the park and look great.  Working with Landmark was a breeze really, and they made it very easy for us to decide what we wanted.  Landmark also went above and beyond when amendments to the order were needed.  So all in all we are very happy with the results”.
