This ground socket is the perfect companion to the Landmark range of bollards. This includes variations of the Oxford waymarker (timber), the Brixham bollard (timber), the Sheringham bollard (recycled plastic), and the Milan bollard (metal).
Using these sockets means that posts can be easily removed for maintenance, mowing or even filming.
The addition of a lid means that there is no trip hazard when empty and by adding a hasp to the bollard it can be padlocked for extra security.
The socket is 350mm tall and has an internal diameter of 114mm. It is manufactured from mild steel with galvanising to BS EN ISO 1461.
The socket can be customised to take special security fixings as shown in the gallery image. Here we cut a larger slot in the lid to take a heavy-duty hasp/staple for some bollards which were going into a area where a combination of vandal resistance and ease of removal were both required.
