Fixed-Point Photography Stainless-Steel Phone Cradle – 72018
Phone Cradle - 72018
Fixed point photography (FPP) is a well-known method of recording landscape changes over a period of time. Photographs are taken at different times and compared to see how the landscape has changed, often they can be uploaded to a website using a QR code printed on the cradle. FPP ca be used for example on river restoration, recording coastal erosion, replanting schemes and any situation where changes occur over a lengthy time period.
Fixed point photography is an ideal way to involve ‘citizen scientists’ to foster interest in public places and increase awareness of the threats and opportunities for change.
Our FPP cradle is manufactured from high-grade stainless steel to ensure decades of outdoor use and has countersunk fixing holes in the bottom to enable easy and secure fixing. The folded construction and bevelled edges make this a sleek top-quality cradle suitable for everyday use by the public. The base size is 150x90mm and the phone support is 100mm high making a really stable platform.
The aperture is large enough for all current smartphone models and our cradle has been used by many organisations such as Sussex Wildlife Trust, Forestry England, The Environment Agency and The National Trust.
