About This Project

This busy hospital serves Islington and Haringey, together with other neighbouring London boroughs, and serves a population of 500,000 people. Its staff of 4,400 also run services from 30 community locations.

One such location is Edwards Drive which houses the Mobility & Seating Solution Centre. Landmark was approached to do a graphic wall to enhance the waiting area and corridor. A dramatic series of photos from the Paralympics were chosen and printed in large format high definition with a protective laminate.

Still for Whittington, this time in the main A&E area, we produced designs to show patients and their carers the processes involved in their journey. This has been proven to reduce stress and aggression in this most high pressure of environments.

The installation had to be fitted into the busy schedule with teams required to work sensitively and discreetly to ensure the minimum disruption. You can find out more about this scheme here.

Our experience at Whittington and other hospitals has often demonstrated the dedication and tireless service of the NHS in looking after the health of the population. We are very glad to have worked with the Whittington team and seen first-hand the amazing work they do.
