About This Project
Once a bleak upland farm, Palacerigg Country Park covers more than 300 hectares (over 700 acres) and is a beautiful sanctuary containing thousands of native trees and shrubs. Wildlife abounds here and there is a 10km network of nature trails and footpaths.
It’s a great destination for the family with a playpark, woodland play area, climbing frame and with free parking and entry there’s really no reason to stay at home!
North Lanarkshire Council were looking to develop a distinctive style of signage for the park which can be used for different projects as the park develops and we were delighted to be awarded the tender for the design and subsequent manufacture and installation.
A bold colour palette was developed with eye-catching entrance signage and wayfinding. As the photographs show the scheme is truly striking and will enhance the uniqueness of this very special area of North Lanarshire.
