Lighting for Polehanger Farm, Bedfordshire - Made By Landmark
//

About This Project

Polehanger Farm is an example of how carefully managed diversification can create new opportunities for farmers, and for those wishing to get away from it all. Well-connected and situation in Bedfordshire you can experience luxury glamping, outdoor events and farmhouse accommodation all to the highest standards. The original buildings are well cared for or being tastefully renovated and the new glamping cabins are state of the art.

A very important aspect of creating an atmospheric setting is the lighting. Polehanger chose the Bosco 93003 bollard in both the solar and wired versions, and the photographs just speak for themselves. Lighting is so important to get right, done well it provides an even and gentle illumination which enhances the visitor experience (and safety) while not disturbing wildlife. The bollards fade into the background during the day and come alive at dusk.

Wired bollards along key paths provide guaranteed illumination – an important factor when considering public safety, while solar bollards in the glamping area provide a gentle light when late evening comes. A additional benefit of course is that solar bollards require no cabling and are entirely self-sufficient.

Overall a very successful use of these lighting bollards and Polehanger Farm is definitely worth a visit for some relaxation and country activities.
