About This Project
The Bure Valley Railway is a 15 inch narrow gauge railway which runs from Wroxham to Aylsham in Norfolk. It’s an 18 mile round trip and takes in the villages of Brampton, Buxton and Coltishall en-route.
The station is Coltishall has recently been refurbished and has a Citi-System installation of monolith, benches, planters and cycle stands. The monolith has a full height introduction to the railway on one site, and two half-heights displays on the reverse showing a map of the railway and some information about the funding sources.
These displays can be changed simply by unlocking and opening the doors, loosening the retaining bars with a small spanner, then sliding the old panels out sideways and replacing them with new panels and reversing the process.
We look forward to visiting the station in the future to see the planters in full bloom and the station buzzing with activity!

Clyde Gateway and Forestry Lane Scotland have done an amazing job of transforming this area ably assisted by the good people of Robertson Group, a Scotland based construction and infrastructure business.
