About This Project
This is a remarkable place – a 3.2km trail (that’s about 2 miles) that winds though Nene Park and into nearby Peterborough past a series of 13 sculptures. In fact the whole area has walking, cycling and watersports as well as an excellent visitor centre and facilities.
The sculptures are spread throughout the park and needed something discreet yet distinctive to explain the who and the why. Enter the Tonbridge lectern. Often supplied in a brushed stainless steel finish but here in a distinctive orange colour, with the addition of HardRok graphics panels. This is the perfect choice of material for this situation – stainless steel is corrosion resistant and very strong, while the panels are lightweight with pin-sharp edge to edge graphics and a 10 year anti-fade warranty.
The photographs perfectly capture the atmosphere of the Sculpture trail despite being a rather dull day – but that’s no problem at all. The Tonbridge lectern as well as the Sculptures are built to brush off the elements of our changeable British weather!
